Miller Team Project

Did you know that every school is prone to air pollutants? This could be from toxic chemicals in building materials, furnishings, or art supplies. Or even chemicals in cleaning products or pesticides from around the school. High concentrations of these pollutants can affect a child's learning process by causing such things like respiratory illnesses, fatigue, or attention problems. This happens all around the world and is very common, which is why our team's Miller Team is dedicated to educating the Lafayette community about air pollutants while finding ways to fix this problem.

The Miller Team has partnered up with Miller Elementary School, in Lafayette, Indiana, in order to research how air pollutants impact the school environment and how to improve air quality in schools while analyzing data they are collecting from sensors. Currently, they are coming up with a plan on how to educate elementary students while fixing the problem of indoor air pollution.
